Display, Video & YouTube Unique Reach Reporting in AdWords & DoubleClick - Google Marketing
With Unique Reach you can measure how many people were shown your display and video ads, including on YouTube.

You'll see two new metrics in your reports: Unique users and average impressions per unique user. Critically, these metrics are de-duplicated across devices, campaigns, and formats, so you can understand how many people you reached in your target audience and how many times you reached them. Unique Reach reporting is in AdWords today and will be available in DoubleClick in the next few months.

MY OPINION
Unique Reach allows you to find wasted money that can be better spent elsewhere.
